The 2005 production is a classic remake of 1993’s King Kong. A whopping $273 million went into the shooting because the producers wanted special embellishments and the beautiful New Zealand Scenery. The budget had an allowance for extra run-time, so that the makers took about 18 months to create CGI alterations for the Empire State Building.
