4. Stop unneeded programs from starting

Does your computer lag when it starts up? Perhaps, too many programs are starting as soon as you power on your computer. To ensure your computer opens up quick, you need to stop unnecessary programs from starting. For Mac users, go to system preferences, and then accounts. Click on login items after that. Now, select the (-) sign for every program you don´t want opening automatically.
For Windows, go to task manager (Ctrl+alt+delete) and select startup. Now, disable all the programs you don´t want opening automatically.
